Special Rules for Virtual Slot Games

In addition to Starlet Entertainment Limited's (hereinafter "Starlet") General Terms and Conditions [link here to GTC], these Special Rules for Virtual Slot Games will apply to any virtual slot games played on Starlet's website 'LetsBet.de'. By playing any virtual slot game on Starlet's website, customers are deemed to have read and accepted both the General Terms and Conditions as well as all terms referenced therein including these Special Rules for Virtual Slot Games.

1. General

1.1 The games provided on the website run under a random number generator (RNG) to ensure fairness for all customers. Any participation in the games is at the sole discretion and sole risk of the customer. In order to be able to play the games with the use of money, sufficient credit must be available in the customer's account.

1.2 The rules of the games are available in the game rules section of each game. The game rules are an extension and form part of these Special Rules for Virtual Slot Games and by playing the game, customers guarantee that they have read and understood the rules of each game they participate in.

1.3 Starlet's virtual slot games are operated in partnership with third-party software providers. All games offered on letsbet.de have been tested and approved to comply with the requirements of the GlüStV by the Joint Gaming Authority of the Federal States (GGL). Starlet reserves the right to add and remove games from the website at any time at its sole discretion, and to make changes to the payout rates that will apply to those games. It is customer's responsibility to familiarise themselves with the payout percentage for each game in each session before placing a bet. Customers may only use the games for personal recreational use in accordance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations.

1.4 The stated payout rates (RTP) for the virtual slot games apply to each game. These rates can be found in the game rules. The RTP is the ratio of bets to winnings achieved on average over the long term thanks to the proper adjustment of random number generators. For some games, the RTP is reduced due to the virtual slot machine tax (amendment to the Race Betting and Lotteries Act of July 1, 2021). The RTP and the probability of achieving the highest win are displayed directly within the game interface where the stake is placed.

1.5 Starlet accepts no responsibility for malfunctions or cancelled games. In the event that a game is faulty or cancelled, customer is to contact customer service. Starlet will then contact the relevant game provider and inform customer of the game provider's decision. In the event of malfunctions and errors, winnings will not be paid out and the game will be cancelled.

1.6 In the event that customer notices any irregularities in the transactions on their account, customer is to immediately inform Starlet. Subsequent complaints will not be accepted.

1.7 The virtual slots are offered in a separate area of the website, which is graphically separated from other gambling services. Switching from and to the virtual slot area from another area is only possible with a minimum waiting period of one minute.

2. Promotions

Starlet reserves the right to offer promotions to customer if certain criteria are met, where permitted by law. The relevant Special Terms and Conditions for Bonuses and Promotions shall apply to such promotions. Customers are requested to pay particular attention to the offer periods, minimum turnover conditions and minimum deposit amounts as may be provided for in the said Special Terms and Conditions for Bonuses and Promotions.

3. Fair Play

Starlet reserves the right to cancel and reclaim winnings, suspend withdrawals and close the customer's account in the event of unfair advantage play, this includes, without limitation:

i. the exploitation of any bug, vulnerability or error in our software or any third party software used in the use of Starlet's services;

ii. the use of third party systems or analytics software, including but not limited to software that includes features that enable the game to be played without human intervention (e.g. bots);

iii. The use of so-called "BOTS", specially created to play games instead of humans.

4. Game Payments

4.1 All winnings will be credited to customer's account when the outcome of a game in which customer has participated is determined or, where applicable, when Starlet confirms the outcome of the relevant event.

4.2 In the event that Starlet mistakenly credits winnings and/or funds to customer's account that do not belong to customer, whether this is due to an error in the published payout tables or game software, human error or otherwise, the amount credited remains the property of Starlet and will be transferred out from customer's account. In the event that a withdrawal request is completed using funds that do not belong to customer prior to Starlet becoming aware of the error, the amount paid in error constitutes a debt owed to Starlet. In the event of an incorrect credit, automatic efforts will be made by the payment provider to recover this credit by charging a fee to customer's relevant account, and customer will be required to notify Starlet immediately by email.

4.3 Starlet reserves the right to void any bet where Starlet does not have sufficient funds to cover the account's wager and/or any bet placed with winnings deposited in error due to technical or human error.

4.4 Starlet may be required to carry out additional verification procedures for certain transactions e.g. to ensure responsible gambling safeguards or to prevent fraud or money laundering.

5. Failed and Interrupted Games

5.1 Starlet will not be liable for any interruptions in play, server outages, delays, technical or political disruptions. Refunds may be made at Starlet's discretion.

5.2 Starlet shall not be liable for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the website or its content. This includes, without limitation, delays or interruptions in operation or transmission, loss or damage to data, communications or faults, misuse of the website or its content by any person or errors or omissions in the content.

5.3 In the event of any malfunction of the virtual slot games all bets will be void.

5.4 If a failure occurs after the start of a game due to a system error, Starlet will refund the amount wagered by crediting it to customer's account or, if the account is no longer available, customer will be paid in an approved manner; if customer has any funds accumulated when the game failed, these funds will be credited to customer's account or, if the account is no longer available, customer will be paid in an approved manner.

5.5 If, after placing a bet, customer's participation in the game is interrupted due to a malfunction in customer's telecommunications or computer system that prevents customer from continuing the game, the game will be completed automatically by the system. Customer can check the result of the game on their account history page. If customer wins, the winning amount is immediately credited to the their account.

6. Prohibition of Simultaneous Games

6.1 GlüStV 2021 prohibits parallel gaming participation. This means that customers will not be allowed to play more than one slot game at any given time (be that on letsbet.de or on another licensed gaming provider's website). Customers cannot be simultaneously logged in to another online gaming provider and participate in Starlet's online gaming offer.

6.2 In order to prevent parallel gaming, GlüStV provides for a centralised activity file to which all online gambling providers must be linked. Prior to customer playing on Starlet's website, Starlet needs to transmit customer's full name, date of birth, place of birth and address to the activity file in order to check whether customer is already active at another online gambling provider.

6.3 In the event that Starlet does not receive a response that customer is already active at another online gambling provider, customer will be added as active in the central activity file at Starlet. When customer stops playing with, Starlet will report this in the central activity file, including the data mentioned above. GlüStV requires a waiting time of five (5) minutes between activations at the first online gambling provider and the second online gambling provider. Therefore, the information that the customer is active at one online gambling operator will be removed from the central activity file five (5) minutes after the online gambling operator notifies the file that the customer is no longer active and therefore the activation in the file must be deactivated.

7. Mandatory Game Break After One Hour

GlüStV 2021 obliges all online gambling providers to show customers the elapsed time since their activation in the activity file. After sixty (60) minutes have elapsed since the activation of the event file, customers will only be permitted to continue playing once they are informed of the elapsed time and customers explicitly confirm that they have taken the information into account. Customers will therefore be asked to click on the relevant confirmation button.

8. Cancellations

8.1 In the event of: (i) a game malfunction, (ii) use of Starlet's website other than for its intended purpose, (iii) use of Starlet's website in breach of its General Terms and Conditions, (iv) a blatant typographical error in a paytable, or (v) a game bet or gaming account transaction is made with or is in any way related to such transactions with unlawful funds, all such bets, bonuses received and winnings accrued thereon shall be void and the customer's account shall be reset to the initial balance being the balance in the account prior to the erroneous gaming activity, less any bonuses received and winnings accrued thereon.

8.2 Starlet reserves the right to declare a game void when it considers it clear that any of the following circumstances have occurred at its discretion: (i) the customer or persons close to them may have directly or indirectly influenced the outcome of an event, (ii) the customer or persons close to them may have directly or indirectly violated Starlet's rules, (iii) the outcome of an event may have been directly or indirectly influenced by criminal activity, (iv) bets that will not be accepted may have been placed but accepted at times when the website was affected by technical problems, (v) bets may have been submitted, placed or accepted in error as a result of a typographical error, misprint, technical error, force majeure or for any other reason.
